Malchut SheBeHod. Majesty within Presence.
A much as I've written and thought about Hod over the past week, I have to admit I still find it extremely elusive. I feel I have been using more and more words to less and less effect. The Majestic sovereign can communicate much with few words and little effort. A Majestic Presence puts those around her at ease without having to say or do anything. Today, my daily meditation book read: "Practice the Presence of G8d." In honor of these idea(l)s, I would like to try and keep today's writing very simple.
I am a beginning student of Kabbalah. Today, I would like to be Majestically Present with the state of my understanding or lack thereof. I would like to be Majestically Present with the longing for the mysteries I have yet to receive. I would like to feel Dignified in my Purpose around this whole exploration, wherever it takes me. A part of me wonders if, perhaps, this longing, this feeling that comprehension of Hod is just beyond my reach is the very essence of Hod in all its wonderful complexity. For today, I will decide that is the case, and I will accept this Longing as the fruits of my actions thus far.
Today, let the Majesty of our Presence put others at ease. Let us find Dignity in whatever state of Presence we find ourselves.
