Omer Day 33 לג בעומר הוד שבהוד Lag B'Omer Hod SheBeHod

Wow! Awe. Splendor. Gratitude. Humility within Humility. Gratitude. Splendor. Awe. Wow!

Go ahead. Shave your beard. Dance to some loud music. Light a bonfire. Get married, for goodness sake! This is the day to do it. Take a break from being glum (if you're glum) and launch!

This is just the thing I need today. I'm home now from a truly great adventure, and the re-entry is considerable. I knew it would be, but it's one thing to know it and quite another to live it. In addition to the pangs of separation from my bandmates, my family is away this weekend, so it's kitty and me.

I don't think I'm going to go light a bonfire (to say nothing of shaving my beard), but it's nice to think about infinite concentric spheres of Awe, Gratitude, Splendor, Humility, Wow! I will enjoy it in my own groggy, somewhat disoriented way.

May you be blessed today with Gratitude for the Awe of the Splendor of Humility. Wow!
