Omer Day 47 הוד שבמלכות Hod SheBeMalchut

Awe. Receptivity. Gratitude. Wow! Humility within Presence. Reality. Dignity. Selfitude. Give-ceiving.

Today is the wedding day. Wow! Today we get to stand with our friends and help shift the fabric of the universe, witnessing and contributing our loving energy as their union takes on a new form. As a person who has been married twice (to the same person, which can happen when you and your spouse are the same gender), I can affirm that there is a shift that occurs when we stand in front of a group of witnesses and make a commitment of that magnitude. I figured I would feel something, but couldn't have anticipated the Reality of the actual experience until it happened. I definitely did not expect it to be so powerful the second time, when we went to our local city hall in Massachuestts to make it legal. But it was.  What a delight to get to share in that experience with people I love today, this day of Hod SheBeMalchut.

I know we can't all be at a wedding today to experience this particular variety of Awesomeness. What aspect of Reality will you choose to Receive with Awe?

Today may you be blessed with Gratitude for some aspect of Reality as you experience it. May you be Receptive to the Presence of another and be Received in the fullness of your Presence. May your Awe in the Divine Presence keep the wheels of Give-ceiving turning.
