Omer Day 31 תפארת שבהוד Tiferet SheBeHod

Beauty. Balance. Harmony. Glory. Art within Awe. Peak. Space. Receptivity. Splendor. Gratitude. Humility. Wow!

I’m so tired I can hardly see. This is definitely an adjustment very much akin to the welcoming of our daughter into our lives almost 12 years ago.  With her, though, we had much more notice - a good 40 weeks!

I’m not quite sure what I want to say, really. The words Balanced growth keep wafting through my mind. I’m sure they are trying to teach me something. Something about being gentle with myself, gentle with the dog, gentle with my family as we stay in this mode of Receptivity, making Space for the pooch.

Balanced growth. Two steps forward, one step back. The presence of the kitty is definitely a complicating factor. I would sure love for them to just figure it out and be done already. There have been quite a few wonderful moments, and some steps back. Balanced growth. Receptivity.

As ever, the dog is the presenting story line, but it’s not about the dog.  I pray that I may work for Balance as grow, and remain Receptive to and Grateful for whatever learning I’m meant to receive.

May your Beautiful prayers be graciously Received by the Divine ear.
